Gravitas is pleased to present Lineage In Bloom, a featured artist exhibition by Mina Alikhani. Known for her visceral blend of figuration and surrealism, Alikhani’s work traces the contours of personal memory, myth, and inherited culture.
Unapologetically personal and formally rigorous, the exhibition situates Alikhani’s evolving visual language within a lineage of diasporic storytelling and symbolic reckoning. Archival works are placed in deliberate tension with never-before-seen pieces from her anticipated fall series, creating a compelling continuum of past and future.
Lineage In Bloom invites viewers to consider not only where the artist has been, but how ancestral echoes survive the static of modern life—unfolding quietly, defiantly, against the tide of forgetting.
